Technology

Ymax Telecom solutions utilize mobile WiMAX (IEEE mobile Worldwide Interoperability of Microwave Access 802.16e-2005) standards-compliant network infrastructure equipment based on proprietary NLOS, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing or OFDM technologies. Our mobile WiMAX offerings feature advanced chipsets with both MIMO (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) and SISO (Single Input, Single Output) technology support, and enable successful implementation of fixed, portable and mobile service offerings using a single network architecture.

The use of SC-OFDMA reduces the system complexity of relatively narrow channels and improves performance in relatively wide channels. Channel bandwidths ranging from 3.5 MHz to 20 MHz are supported. Bandwidth scalability enables mobile WiMAX technology to comply with global frequency regulations while remaining sufficiently versatile to address diverse operator and ISP Internet and broadband service requirements.

Mobile WiMAX

Mobile WiMAX is an IP-based technology, optimized for high-throughput, real-time data applications. Mobile WiMAX is based on the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standard and is designed to operate in the 2.3 GHz, 2.5 GHz, 2.7 GHz and 3.5 GHz spectrum bands, with optional support for additional bands.
Ymax Telecom designs mobile WiMAX networks as wireless Ethernet IP platforms based on an OFDM and TDD physical layer, to address NLOS performance and frequency utilization considerations. Our mobile WiMAX solutions are ideal for mobile Internet usage, featuring multiple handoff mechanisms, mobile device power-saving, advanced quality of service and low latency. Advanced authorization, authentication and accounting functionality is also fully supported.
